Lana Harris joined Atlanta News First in April of 2022 as a morning anchor for Peachtree TV and Breaking News Anchor for Atlanta News First. You can catch her on weekday mornings from 5:00 - 7:00 a.m. on Atlanta News First and 7:00 - 9:00 a.m. on Peachtree TV.

Lana came to Atlanta News First from WCNC in Charlotte, North Carolina where she was a Weekend Morning Anchor and Reporter. Prior to that, she worked in Jacksonville, Florida and Columbia, South Carolina.

Lana is a Georgia Peach and very excited to be home! She was born and raised in Clayton County, attended Lovejoy High School, and graduated from the University of Georgia with a degree in Broadcast Journalism and minor in Sociology.

When she’s not up early bringing the morning show energy to Metro Atlanta, she is trying to find somewhere to eat. Lana is a HUGE foodie and would love any and all recommendations!
