ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - Thursday will be another cloudy and relatively cool day. Isolated showers are possible during most of the day. There’s a better chance of showers/storms by late-afternoon and evening. A few storms could be strong to severe with gusty winds and hail possible. The temperature will rise from the 50s to the mid 60s in the afternoon.

Scattered showers and storms continue through the night into early Friday. There’s a lower risk of rain Friday afternoon/evening, and the sun will likely break through. Highs will be in the mid to upper 70s.

The weather looks dry and warm on Saturday. There is another First Alert for rain late Saturday night into Sunday. It’s still early, but it looks like the rain may move out in the afternoon with cooler weather to follow for the start of May.
