First Alert Forecast | Dry again on Tuesday before midweek showers
ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - Dry and seasonably cool weather continues on Tuesday before rain chances increase Wednesday through Thursday. It will be a chilly start on Tuesday with lows in the 40s. The temperature will warm to near 70 in the afternoon under partly to mostly cloudy skies.
First Alert for showers Wednesday and Thursday
Clouds will thicken Tuesday night ahead of increasing rain chances on Wednesday. It will not be a washout, and the best chance of rain in the morning is north of Atlanta. Scattered showers are possible across north Georgia in the afternoon. Highs will be in the 60s to near 70 - possibly cooler in the mountains.
Showers continue on Thursday as another disturbance passes by. Once again, it does not look like a total washout, but there will likely be some rain from time to time.
A break in the action is possible from late Friday morning through most of Saturday before the next system arrives with more wet weather for part of the weekend. Right now, it looks likes the best chance of rain is late Saturday into early Sunday.
