ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - The Georgia Bulldogs are national champions for the second consecutive year! The Dawgs dominated the Horned Frogs 65-7 and became the first team since Alabama to go back-to-back!
ORIGINAL: The University of Georgia Bulldogs and Texas Christian University Horned Frogs are in a battle tonight at the SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California, for the College Football Playoff National Championship. If the Bulldogs win, it will be the second time in a row for the team based in Athens. If TCU wins, it will be the first time since 1938 that the team has won.

Fans continue to pour out of the rain-soaked So-Fi Stadium in the Los Angeles metro area after the Bulldogs’ dominant win in the national championship game on Monday evening.
Many UGA fans assembled in Athens to celebrate the Bulldogs’ dominant championship win over the TCU Horned Frogs late Monday evening. Bulldogs were seen chanting and celebrating all over the UGA campus. As is a tradition, fans ‘rang the bell’ to celebrate a Bulldogs victory.
